Well the dates are set, and the location is chosen! Now it's time for the idle banter and chit chat as we try to get through the coming winter hibernation!

The 2019 Spring Rally will be at Ohiopyle State Park from May 3rd through May 5th. There's a ton of good stuff to do around Ohiopyle, besides the miles of trails to explore there is also the quaint town of Ohiopyle with some nice shops to visit. Nearby is Falling Water which is a Frank Lloyd Wright designed home. It's also not too far of a drive to the Flight 93 Memorial (About an hour) and Living Treasures (About a half hour).

We'll be in site 192, there's only a few sites in the Ivy loop that have electric left, but there are others in the campground that aren't pet friendly if you're not bring animals with you and need the power hookup.

Post up if you'll be joining us for Cinco de Mayo!

Glad to hear it, John! I'm looking forward to this, since we haven't gotten a camping trip in since June. It's been a rough summer for us, financially but I think there's a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm up for a review in the next week or so, and I'm optimistic that I'm going to get my wages bumped up to something around market value. And since I'm about to hit two years there, I'm getting a couple more days of vacation time. I'm hoping 2019 is the year things start looking up for us.

I don't think we will be making it. DD want me to make a multi day long distances bike tour starting Thursday. She will be coming up from NC and we will use the camper for the over nights.

Will see if we are in shape a few weeks before. There two day of 100 plus miles.

It sure feels like it. Those of us who put our campers in storage are saying we could be camping but can't. I'd be out with just the kids though, my wife is more the warm weather camper. she'll tolerate a little bit during the spring and fall but that's about it.

Yesterday it was spring, today it's snowing. Go home Pennsylvania, you're drunk! :D

I can't wait for May to get here. That reminds me, I still need to put in my PTO request.

We put the camper in the garage. But it still does not make sense to de-winterize including getting every off it. It becomes a big shelf all winter. Being able to store it in the garage when not camping is we like about the pupup. But I have thought about freeing up the garage space during the winter and putting it up at the fairgrounds in one of the barns.

We are planning to make the rally, but there does not seem to be any electric sites left on the loop. So we will not make reservations believing we can get a walk-on non-electric site in early May.

We cannot wait for spring and going camping. Been crazy here. Moving next weekend when we are expecting a foot of snow! Yeah Do not know how we are going to do this!! Fingers crossed that we don’t end up killing each other when we are done!

Thanks John! Actually, it went better than we expected. The weather held out for the most part. Moving in the rain sucks, but it’s better than what they predicted. Not to figure out where to put everything.
