2019 Vermont Fall Foliage Rally September 27 - 29, 2019 Winhall Brook Campground South Londonderry Vermont Mark your calendars and plan to attend a fun weekend at one of Vermont's finest campgrounds. The usual activities are planned - Meet & Greet, The now famous Beer Tasting, Chili Cook Off, Feast of Friends Potluck Supper and kayaking. Reservations are available March 22 at www.recreation.gov All activities take place in the North loop but you are welcome to camp in either of the two loops. Any questions. Ask away and see you all in the fall!
Glad you decided to have it the same weekend again. I will be able to do my normal Tuesday to Sunday. Thank you!
I'll be there Thursday to Sun. Emily and the girls will join us on Friday after school. What's the reservation window? Gotta get in early and book that nice site down by the water where #CrankyDave usually stays.
Going to poke the bear? Hmmm...good luck with that!. FYI, last year Dave and Deb arrived on Tuesday. Wait...both Mike and I are arriving on a Tuesday...
.... And people wonder why I take a site at the end of the loop, away from all the adults bickering, arm wrestling and name calling over sites.
Since I don't have to wait to leave because Emily and the girls can't arrive until Friday night, I could come any time I like. Maybe Tues/Wed. But that long a trip would probably necessitate running my generator. He he he. Brace yourselves. BRAAAAAAAAAAA! Don't worry. I have to run the current tank dry, but I'll be switching to Amsoil Sabre oil at 80:1, so there should be no smoke.
In retrospect, I suppose I should have expected that answer after my generator comment. Also, Mike... It's Quiet, not Quite. Just sayin'
I think it's 6 months out from your arrival date to make a reservation. So you'll be booking Canada and Vermont at basically the same time. The end of March can't get here soon enough!
March-reservations, April-Fishermens, May-Schodack, June-NEPA. I've got stuff to DO! Gonna be busy before April.
And enough other tools to build me a generator from scratch. But hey, if you want to lend me your super-spiffy Honda to recharge, I'd be happy to keep the HF put away. That is, of course, only if it's overcast. I'll have my solar panels.
Yeah, he missed last years VT rally. Chris was so hurt. And I even brought a spare Ford V8 for him to rebuild on the picnic table one morning.
Got the HF outside running right now. Burning off the last of my old premix. A little smokey on startup. But it settles in nicely. Make fun of it all you like. It's a great emergency charge generator. For $85, it's happy to sit and wait.
