Heavily edited the post multiple times, then decided to delete it... was easier and more therapeutic to tell at one of the idiots at work...
Trying to play nice in the sand box..
Not your style....lol. I have a couple fighting in the sandbox right now!!
True.. but decided full on Archie Bunker was a bit much..
Ok so have narrowed it down to Earl Rowe P.P. for the summer rally.. due to it being a 2 day weekend for most.. unless some else has another idea? Not my style of camping but could try the KOA at cooktown as well..
Up to the masses to decide.. don't speak up and choose, there won't be a rally, it will be canceled due to lack of interest..
Thinking on canceling the KoTS and TGG as well.. since folks have a difficult time getting there trailers out of storage and ready to camp for Victoria Day.. .. and well Thanksgiving has always been a hard sell due to family commitments and folks using the weekend to put their trailers into storage.. We will be heading out those two weekends, not sure where, might try out that Pembroke City campground in May depending on how the winter/spring is..
Earl Rowe was fine in 2018, considering the power outage. Same loop?
what am Ai missing?[/quote]
I’m usually avail for both.
I won’t visit family in St. Catharines on those weekends because of the traffic, but I’ll go camping...
I'm totally fine with Earl Rowe. I thought the site I had was great, although a little warm. So, once again, I guess we will have to figure out which weekend it will be held on (or has that been decided? I've been in Fla for a bit). Have to figure or work scheds and all that.
Same loop works for us.. This will probably be stop number two, since I'm on vacation.

Yes so are we.. well I'm on vacation for it..
Yes the weekend following Canada Day...
Ok, info post will be posted sometime next week, providing I'm not too busy at work..
I was at YYZ last night. They almost lost a whole plane load of luggage, oops. Oh well, they finally found it after about 3/4 of an hour or so. It was still on the plane, duh!
We are good with Earl Rowe PP. We will bring the pool! lol
We'll have Bailey's and Rocky's pool too, or as Bailey (and Shilo) thought it was, their over sized water dish..
Earl Rowe doesn't look too far for me...I'll be working until 4:30pm at least so it'll be closer to 8 by the time I get loaded up and go
Ok didn't have time at work to create the rally post with the info.. hardly had time for a nap this morning.. just love it when planes get stinky sock smells...
Open cockpit ultra-lite lets the wind come in and blow all the stinky sock smells out....
Late to the party.. I've mentioned it in the past, and am trying against. My family and I would LOVE to join you all. Not many Quebecers on this site, and well... We are an English family so we'd rather be in Ontario for a gathering. Would anyone be interested in a rally near the Kingston area? It's halfway (ish) between Montreal and Toronto. We have another family of 4 who would love to join with their pup too
I’m in for that! I held a Can/Us rally at Charleston Lake PP last August as an effort to jon my CAN & US Portal camping families. It was almost impossible to get sites, but 2 CAN & 5 US families were able to make it.
Do you have a campground(s) in mind?
FYI, anyone can host a rally. Originally, PopupSteve set it up so that rallies had to be ‘approved’. This requirement has fallen by the wayside. One just needs to pick a campground (and loop/site range), rally dates, and post the info in a new thread under Rallies. I can either help you do it or post it myself.
