Park Info: Fishermen's State Park and Campground offers campers a 'seaside village' atmosphere where visitors will find neatly trimmed grass, tree lined paths, and activities for the whole family. Whether you are looking for a place to pitch a tent and enjoy a camp fire, or park your R.V. and play some basketball or tennis, Fishermen's can accommodate you. One of Fishermen's most attractive features is its close proximity to popular State Beach areas like Scarborough, Roger Wheeler, and Salty Brine. The Park is also just 1 mile from the Block Island Ferry Dock and 20 minutes from scenic Newport. Farmers Market - May - October, Sundays 9 am to 1 pm.

The PopUp Portal's "unofficial favorite" RI Campground - all the weekend after the crowds clear out!

    Pets are welcomed.

    Water, Electric AND Sewer !?

Just stay away from the sites 53 thru 65. IIRC those sites have a LOT of pitch. Leveling will be a challenge.

I hosted an Eastern Ontario Rally at Charleston Lake PP (20 min north of the I-81 border crossing) on the 1st weekend in August. Reservations open at 7am 5 months in advance. Electrical sites were sold out in seconds. Davylee, Stefie19, JimmyM, VTRailroadguy, and ccptbo were able to attend.

My wife is not happy with you Dave. I told her you were starting up another rally in NH, and she got all excited until she found out when. We most likely won't be able to attend that one.

I’ll be at Pawtuckaway SP after the VT Rally. It might be a good option for a NH rally.

Oh. That's a very reasonable trip. We've been to the white mountains a few times. That's a bit of a haul. But the trips were worth it.

No plans for future Eastern Ontario rallies yet. I’ve been invited to travel to BC and back through northern US next year—each travelling in own trailer. I’m also organizing/hosting Eastern Canada Aliner Owners Club rallies.

We are lucky to have so many Rally options—and people willing to organize them! My Eastern Ontario Rally may become an alternate-year event—perhaps in conjunction with Steph's CT Rally? Will discuss options at the VT Rally.

I like the alternating rally idea. And the first weekend in August might work better for us to hold a CT Rally if Deb/Dave are going to change to a Sept rally. July can be difficult because of work commitments that Jeff and I both have now.

Since all of us will be at VT, it might be a good idea to plot out some possible dates/locations for all of next year’s rally.

Yeah, I would like to keep the Fishermans Rally going again, also considering one for Wompatuck for July 4th but probably not till 2021, too many trips planned in 2020 (daughter getting married near Moosehead so will camp for that one, could turn it into a Rally if people wanted to travel that far LOL)and not enough vacation time.
