We booked CS 38 Friday to Sunday. But now wondering about lake front

John, I would try calling and see if you can change the site number. Not sure if they can change it. But I think if you book a new site and cancel in three months you only lose the res fee of 6.50.

Thanks. But second thought, I think I may just stay put on site 32.... since I’m probally going to be still in a tent, I may need the extra room to get some sleep. especially with all the loud people over there at the lakefront! Plus the walking is good for me , As I need to get into better shape anyhow !

Haha, not missing this one, booked in site 63 9/17 and leaving the 20th.

Looks like we'll still be on the PUP for another year. Not seeing too many short bunkhouse that aren't complete trash online in the sub 5k range, so we decided to sock a chunk away and add taxes next year so we can get a nicer unit. As a plus, that leaves some extra aside, so we're taking the kids on a 5 day Housboat trip at Raystown lake in May. My family rented houseboats at Shasta lake in CA every few years when I was a kid and it was always an awesome experience, so I want the kids and Crystal to experience it at least once.

I can't wait to camp with all of you again, so freaking excited!!

I booked CS 81 for Friday thru Sun. Got to using VAGOV logic about being close to friends. Being in CS 38 looked like I would need to make airline reservations to visit. I will cancel 38 in three months.

Pat, glad to see you’ll be joining us this year. Renting a houseboat sounds like a lot of fun. The last time I went to England, my uncle rented a boat and we travelled the broads (rivers) for a week. It was amazing, especially for a kid in 7th grade!!

Wow, Rob, I thought you were going a whole different direction there for a second [:D]

But yeah, I love being out on the water, I have ever since I was a kid. Crystal and I have a dream to do "The Loop" when we retire, but that'll be super expensive. (If you don't know what the loop is, basically it's taking a boat along the east coast, then cutting in land through the great lakes, and then down the Mississippi to the Gulf and looping around Florida to your starting point)

So... I guess I am going to address the elephant... tent John???
Check out the honking hills thread, he’s outlined what’s going on. In a nut shell, John is have medical issues and can’t drive right now. I think Kathy is going to learn how to tow a 5th wheel.

Have we heard anything from Janet and Ferd??

I think we are going to add some days in three months when we can do it for free. Maybe a few ahead and behind the weekend.
