Checked the weather this morning....looks like it's cleared up and it should be a beautiful weekend!
Yes, Keep our fingers crossed, but it looks like it may be a nice weekend.
not planning on using it, but bringing a raincoat just in case. mike if you get there early enough you can throw down some saw dust on my site, so i dont get my tires muddy.
Yeah buddy, let me get right on that for you.
I’d prefer wood chips (or straw) on mine—less likely to track into my Aliner.
Thanking you in advance,
Natural mulch on our site, if you please!
Absolutely. It's a huge improvement. The night light was a "while I'm at it, might as well" sort of thing.
Fingers crossed for the weather!
But since you're taking requests, I'd like wood chips please and thank you.
Fun fact: Today I walked the assembly line where they make the F-35 fighter jets. Soooo cool!
The first rally I went to in 2016 was the VT rally. We did a "mod walk". I'd like to see if anyone has new or neat mods. I love a good tip or trick to copy. My LED strip is an homage to Mike's strip. I've got boat load done if anyone is interested. But I'd like to see other folk's ideas on storage.
I know this is probably a stupid question but I'm going to ask it anyway. I want to install a cross bar on our screen door so we stop pulling on the cheap plastic door handle. I'm going to dig out our drill with bits and bring it along but I'm hoping someone has done a similar mod so I can see where the best place is to mount it.
I've done it to mine. I'll let you peek. I'm sure Mike has done it too.
im sure you can talk mike into installing it for you, I hear he likes to do work on vacation
I've heard the same thing!
just a suggestion...you might want to add a "honey -do-list " to the spreadsheet
Don't have anything that I need help with (that I know of ) but would appreciate being allowed to watch and learn from the masters.
Flattery will get you everywhere! I don't have any work to do on this trip, but you're welcome to look at the stuff I've done.
Oops. I misspoke. I have a little finish work to do on Pat's battery electrics and may have a little wiring to do for Jeff & Steph. But that's it. I swear... I think. I'm still bringing all my stuff though.
Solar project is on hold. Had some things come up that were more pressing. I'm thinking it will be our VT project.
One thing that we did just discover is that it seems the pilot light went out on the fridge. We ran out of propane because I didn't realize the fridge didn't get changed over to house power when we got back from our Mother's Day trip in May. So now we have full propane and the stove is lighting but the fridge isn't even trying to. I have no idea where to light the pilot light and I need to get that figured out before Jeff leaves on Thursday for the 3 hour drive to PA.
Never mind. I think I solved my problem. Patience is a virtue.
I'm starting a new tradition... I am bringing the host a 6-pack of local beers to his taste...
