Sounds like a self-resetting breaker. Sort of a silver rectangle/cube thing?

I'm super bummed I couldn't make it. This was the only trip we actually planned this summer :(

It sounds like Mike put on another great rally, so that makes me happy at least. Those coming to the VT rally in September, I'll see you then.

Jimmy, The ones from the factory are actual fuses by the sounds of it. But they are replacing them with self resetting breakers. I asked Dave about his, as he has had to replace his in the past. I will let you know what I find out.

Josh, we really did miss you guys. I hope all is well. Tell Jamie and the kids we hope we can see you in VT.
PS, you better be here next year!

Thanks, Mike and all for another great rally! It was nice to finally meet Steve.
Enjoyed a nice visit with Todd and Char last night. Pulled out at about 8:45 this morning. Currently at the last rest stop on I-81 before the border crossing. Should be home by 7-7:30.

Arrived home. Rained hard here today—and a few times on my way here—so the black flies and mosquitoes are ravenous! Parked trailer in it’s spot, but didn’t even attempt to unhook it tonight.

Glad you made it home safe Pat. Now get packing for Connecticut! We had some more nasty storms come through here last night too, no tornadoes this time thankfully!

I am also very happy to report that my slide out issue was indeed just a blown fuse. Thanks Dave for the assistance in locating it. Why they put it under the camper is beyond me!

    Seriously! What were they thinking?
    How did it look corrosion-wise?

It was fine corrosion wise, I think it had to do with letting my mom run the slide in. I think she held the switch too long after it closed, and popped the fuse. I normally let go at the first sound of the clicks. She held on a for a bunch of clicks and then nothing... While doing some research on it, a lot of people were saying that is a major cause.

Now you have the cause and the cure. Should save future headaches.

Next time it pops it'll be a downpour and he'll have to crawl under there in the mud. Personally, just my 2 cents, I'd relocate it somewhere easier to access and/or replace it with a self-resetting breaker.

Glad eberyone had a blast but where are all the photos? I was hoping to see some photos of the fun we missed. We ended up renting a cabin at the twin mountain koa in NH and took lil man to storyland. Instead of staying at the family house we wanted to get to a camp ground. I doubt my pup will be really ready this year but hoping to have the floor patched and the new vinyl in so we can still camp in it this year.

Yeah, I am planning on replacing it with a self resetting breaker for sure, because Jimmy is right! I just haven't had the time to do it yet.

BigTap, we missed you guys at the rally. I personally didn't take any pictures this time, but I'm sure someone did. Please post them if you did.

Wow just finally got the time to sit down and read the post's. Char and I as some of you might remember moved on to Hills creek campground Monday. Great state campground in Tioga if any one is out that way. They had shower heads and water pressure that made me think of Rambo. While we were there we popped up to Watkins Glenn and Corning New York. After that we hit the grand canyon of PA. on Thursday morning and then took the elk highway down to Rayestown Lake. beautiful drive but very long. The truck handled great and i got my mpg up to 17.5 not bad. the weather held out for us until Thursday night and was spotty the rest of the weekend. Jimmy I had two more Fuses blow and I'm wondering if it's not the campground supply that's the problem I know they always warn you about it. Otherwise we had a great trip really enjoyed seeing all of you and after some heavy deliberation I have cancelled my reserved sight in the south loop. So we will be next to the Hollow in VT.
