WHAT!?! Ugh, now I have to see if I can change our reservation to include Thursday! We might be tempting fate by doing that though with school and snow days. (Please be a warm winter. Please be a warm winter. Please be a warm winter!)

Jimmy, glad you can join us. I hope there isn't a conflict come February. I would totally be up for a breakfast potluck on Friday. Tell Emily her casserole was good the way it was, but Scott is right, more bacon is always better. Either way, don't make the veggie quiche thing instead. Just because your daughter is a vegetarian, doesn't mean the rest of us have to be punished. [LOL][LOL][LOL]

Also, Chris and I were talking in Vermont, about the lower lake at Promised Land, which I have never been to. I think a Kayak tour is in order. Anyone interested?

Here's a dumb question, but we are first time pupers, so grin and cut me a break. When booking sites in the PA system should we book RV, Trailer, or is there something else? Tenting was easy - one choice :)

Okay, ya typed us into it. Joy and I just booked site 116 for the 15,16, and 17th. Any suggestions for the potluck dinner and other details we might need to know? Looking forward to meeting folks and relaxing. Hope the newbies don't make you crazy.

Crayfish and Birch Beer close enough? Seriously may bring smoked chicken or I can make chili?

Great! Welcome! Don't worry about being the newbie. I was the newbie in 2016, and I can say with some certainty that I was not responsible for any of the 'crazies' in the group. Let that debate begin!
As for the potluck, either the smoked chicken--sounds amazing--or chili would be great.

10am? Who are you kidding? I don't sleep until 10am when my family is with me. I'll just send Jake out to run with you.

Welcome DJS12354! Don't worry about being a newbie, we are a welcoming bunch, If you can put up with the crazies in the group. I have added you to my attendees spreadsheet. Anything you want to make for the potluck is fine. Personally, the smoked chicken sounds really good to me. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask. One of us has probably got an answer for you.

Dave, I have eaten Vagov's dutch oven cooking, and it is pretty good, but I would go so far as to say better than mine (sorry John).

As for a breakfast, I am all for it. I think it worked great in Vermont. I can keep a list of people interested, and organize it if we have enough interest.

Thanks for the welcome. Joy and I will bring the smoked chicken along for the potluck. What night/day will the pot luck be held?

typically a meet and greet is usually held one night, and saturday being the potluck, but since this is Mikes rally he can make the call

Vagov is correct. The potluck is on Saturday night at my site (115). There will also be a meet and greet camp fire on Friday night at my site as well. And if that's not enough, we are talking about having a breakfast potluck on Friday morning for those that are here earlier in the week.

Ok I made the decision to update our reservation to arrive on Thursday the 14th. Not sure what time we'll get there...now that I'm tempting the snow gods, Jake will probably still be in school so it's likely we'll be looking at a evening arrival.
