Apparently though the Mountain Dew one has been proven false (http://www.snopes.com/photos/food/mountaindew.asp)

Hope you all had a great holiday!

Its a Haox. You also have to add the content of a glow stick to make it work.

We tried the glow stick "juice" in bubbles, but didn't get good results, at the dismay of some little and big boys!

I really don't get the idea behind the Match Light charcoal in the egg crate. Match Light light just fine with just a match. Only thing I see happening is the charcoal dust will get on all your stuff.

A trick I learned is to use 12 and 20 ounce soft drink bottles for ice instead of a gallon. It's much easier to pack stuff around it and you can enjoy an individual water when it thaws. The biggest plus is that you can pull out one or two to make extra room for that wonderful cheese you found at some out of the way cheese factory without sacrificing the entire gallon.

As a dollar challenged motorcycle camper, I've worked out or stolen a number of camping hacks designed to save space or cash. I'll add more later.

We use the 16 or 20 oz bottle water for Ice. It servers two uses if the water at the CS does not have a good taste. If the water is good at the CS, we just bring the bottled water home and use it the next time.
