It's a great offer, but I'm not going to be in PA. But thanks!
Grrr. Sad I'm missing this trip.
All good , if no one wants it this trip, ill bring it to ny. I figured it was 8 bucks , so i bought the only 2 they had left. I cant pass up a bargain, unfortunately thats why i have so much crap in my garage.
Finally meshed schedules and weather and opened the pup. No surprises, thankfully. Had our FL grandson in for a week and one of his first questions was about going camping. Due to the weather, we wound up doing camp driveway. He was happy with that as long as we had marshmallows!
Looking forward to the rally.
I know the feeling, you are only about an hour away from me. We have had some bad weather lately. If everyone remembers, it was last year during the rally that the tornado hit Wilkes Barre. I hope we don't see that stuff next week.
Great, thanks for reassuring me! If anything happens were blaming you
If it makes you feel any better, the year before was beautiful weather.
Hey, Mike! Please change your official attendee spreadsheet to show me arriving on June 11th—instead of the 10th. I’ve decided to camping 1 night in Delaware enroute from the Maryland Rally.
Since I do plan to cook a meal (i.e. not the mere ‘assemblage’ of components such as in a sandwich) at the campground, I will be in compliance with Dave’s ‘requirements’ vis a vis adding a state/province to my camping map.
Hmmm...now if I can just find those stickers....
I’ve already signed up for a Chicken Caesar Salad for the Sat potluck, but please add Garlic bread as well.
See you soon!
It is likely that we will all be arriving on Friday the 14th. Jeff has a customer meeting on Thursday and he's not sure he'll make it down that afternoon.
Pat, I have you all updated. Have a safe trip, and good job on following the rules! I will see you Tuesday evening!
Steph, I am not changing your arrival date. You tell Jeff, he needs to suck it up and get here Thursday!
Pat - Good to see you following the "Davids Rules of Nomadic Camping" See Step even some one from Canada can follow them. And we'll see you tomorrow
Mike- We'll see you when you get in. Should be there around 1 pm or so depending on how many CT Drivers decide to have accidents in the rain tomorrow morning. And we are available for a breakfast with a spinach pie ob Friday and maybe a meat also. Leaving between 4-5am tomorrow
I know what you mean about the CT drivers, I have made that trip many times. Be safe, and see you when you get here. By the way the girls want to know if you are bringing Gunner?
I probably should have asked this before hand, but hopefully your girls are around the same age as my daughter? (7) hopefully???? And like to play? Otherwise im in for it! And I'm guessing gunner is a dog?
This msg comes to you from beautiful, sunny, & breezy Delaware Seashore State Park. Wow! This detour was definitely worth it!
See you tomorrow, Dave and Deb.
Seriously, CT drivers are the WORST! Good thing I'm a Masshole who can deal with their ridiculousness and Jeff's a New Yorker so everyone is just in his way.
Mike - Jeff says that you get no say over his camping days since you won't be camping with us the required number of days this year to make those demands. See you Friday!
Sjm9911, My girls are 15. I wish they were 7 again, things were much easier then. However they are great with younger kids, so I am sure they will get along fine.
Steph, tell Jeff that really hurts...
we will bring a desert to the Saturday potluck. Monkey bread for the Friday breakfast.
All packed up but the food and clothing, figured i would get it done while its nice out. Dam wasps made a nest in the front cargo area, got bit on the arm before i figured it out. Im a slow learner. If anyone needs anything while there up there just give a shout, ill be coming friday, so ill probably the last one to get there.
