Yep when we used to camp at wallenpaupack we would always go over into Jersey and up 206. Of course that’s 30 years or more ago so I have no idea of traffic now but I remember it was a much smoother drive than 611 and such

It looks like we may be ok. Counties are starting to open up. When a county goes yellow, they can open state park camping. 24 of our 67 counties are already yellow, and they added 13 more yesterday. Unfortunately Pike county, where Promised Land is, is still listed as red. It's all those out of staters going to the Poconos. [LOL][LOL][LOL] I would expect it to open by next week though.

I suppose it depends. I'll say that full points are awarded if it's cool and I put it on my list of to-do mods.

New update on the state park site:

Update 5/22/2020: Beaches and pool facilities will be CLOSED TO SWIMMING from Memorial Day weekend through at least June 5. On land beach activities will still be permitted. We ask visitors to follow social distancing mitigation measures. Beach and parking capacity has been reduced to help limit the spread of COVID-19.

Reservable boating facilities and select restroom facilities are OPEN in day use areas. Family campsites and park offices will open on May 29. Cabins, unique houses, lodges, cottages, and yurts will open on June 12. Visitor center exhibit halls will remain closed. All organized group tenting, organized group cabin camps, and pavilions will remain closed through at least June 15 and will only reopen when the county is designated green. All events of 25 or more people and all public educational programs are canceled through June 15. Please call the park office with questions before you visit.

As part of Pennsylvania COVID-19 mitigation efforts, playgrounds, nature play areas, and amphitheaters will remain closed.
All visitors are required to wear a mask when entering state park buildings.

Acoording to that were good to go! As for masks, if you dont have anything good those fishing face cover ups will work if you dont need the added protection ( or want it) of a n 95 mask.
