    Thanks,

I will try to post the pictures later tonight.

I'm not sure if the cables are to length or not. I was referred to the place I bought them as the place that new everything about Palomino Campers. They asked for the age of the camper (1981) and sent me the springs, cables AND covers.

Hopefully I can use the three-day holiday weekend and get the roof back on the camper.

    Thanks again

Even with the help of goldens, I still can't figure out posting photos. But I did put the photos on my Blog. Check it out the beginning of the roof repair (removing the roof) at http://rockpondpottery.blogspot.com. I will post more pictures there tomorrow.

I did get the box built. I was going to re-use the old aluminum skin. But after holding this up against the new wood, I decided to find new aluminum. The pictures are posted on the blog below.

Haven't been on in a while and didnt realize all the responses since. Fallonn- nice roof repair! Wanna do mine? LOL I havent worked on mine, still, and found out that I need cables on some of them too. On top of it all, I have had trouble finding the time(working and have had trouble from my surgery so had to see my neurosurgeon again, and a neurologist [::)]) , the good weather (no [{}=] rain or wind), the help I need to fix it . One day at a time though. For now we are roughing it with the tent, lol. I've sort of got a plan on how I'm going to get it done, so maybe by the end of the summer we can actually use it. [Guitar]

Planning our big camping trip w/the tent for the week of the 4th of July, very excited! [CP]

    Happy Camping everyone!

I'm not sure where my morning post went....but I don't see it here. If you go to my blog, you will see the very small progress I have made. Something about work that gets in the way of progress. I hope to have all of this back together next weekend.

    Hi all,

We had great weather in New England this weekend. The roof repair is nearly finished. Everything is ready to be put back on,
but the lifting arms need to be fixed yet. Check out the pictures here:

OK, sorry for the lack of a FINAL update, but we had a mad dash to get the camper together so we could meet our commitment at a camp ground for the Fourth of July. But we got there. If you check out Part 6 in the blog below, I have posted pictures.

I hope everyone had a great fourth....we certainly did sleeping under a new roof that didn't leak.
