It will work perfectly. My newer one has the same "double sprocket". My old one was a single. There was really no difference in how they operate.

That's GREAT news. Sorry, I didn't see your last 2 posts in time to respond.

I don't know if you can see it in this picture,

but I replaced the bolt holding my pawl in place with a cotter pin. I had that stroke of brilliance after about the 3rd time I needed to remove the pawl to work on the system. They didn't make it as easy as they could have to unscew that thing!

Good luck. Now that you've completed the repair, I'm sure you understand the lift system much, much better than before. Go tell the "technician" that misdiagnosed your problem as a shear pin that perhaps perhaps they should think twice about guessing about this lift system. You could easily have spent ALOT of money to have them not fix your problem.

OK....I did this repair also, except......
I am having a heck of a time gettining the first c-clip, the one nearest the bearing, back into to place. i can not squeeze the assmeby together tight enough to get in the correct lot on the sprocket. Thoughts?

I remember it being a pain in the patookas to get back on, but I was able to do so with a thin needlenose pliers. What I don't remember is having to squeeze the assembly to be able to fit the pin on.

I know this thread is way old. But I’m having the exact same problem. Why can I not see the images that the members posted? Am I doing something incorrect? Thank you

Nope, you're fine. Software and forum platform changes have rendered image links useless.

Do you recommend just starting a new thread asking for diagrams for what I need?

Back reading the thread, looks like contacting Canvas Replacements may help. They may send you instructions and diagrams needed to troubleshoot. Starting another thread is an option, too.
