So let me start by saying I hate electrical work, it seems so simple and it isn't. So I'm heading to Stone Mountain this Friday and I'd really like my interior lights to turn on by battery. Battery has been fully charged. Grounds all appear good, all fuses appear good. The outside light by the step turns on via battery, the water pump for the sink turns on via battery. I've replaced the Gally switch to allow interior lights and water pump to work, it's obviously allowing power to the water pump and with the switch off, no water pump, so check that's working. But no lights up top. I also replaced the breaker on the positive black battery wire. I've checked the wires running to the roof, they appear plugged in correctly, I'll potentially try pulling those apart next. I'm at a loss

Use a test light or meter to check for voltage at the lights.

This switch appears to connect to the wires going to the roof lights, no apparent place to plug it in

Remember that LED lights are polarity sensitive. It is possible to install some bulbs in backwards.

I'd read that, so I switched them back and forth to no avail

The lights worked two trips ago? Try to figure what changed since then.

Sounds to me like the safety switch is toast...

I replaced the safety switch, and confirmed it works because my water pump will turn on if the switch is on and won't if it's off

I stored it for two months is the only thing. Installed new lights at the end of a trip, checked to make sure they worked, then stored for next trip, opened it up and they didn't work

Check the wires that run through the canvas up to the roof. There's often a plug connection up near the roof so it can be disconnected to remove the canvas. That connector may be unplugged, loose, or damaged. All of the ceiling lights get their power through that line.

Never seen a water pump wired to the safety switch before.. [Edit] Never seen an outside light wired to the safety switch either ..

Find the wire run in the canvas up to the lights and check the connector..

Stop guessing and start measuring with a voltmeter.

X3 - at the very minimum a test light, but a cheap DMM can be had for a few dollars at Harbor Freight or under $10 on Amazon. Frankly, it's a necessary component for practically ANY kind of electrical TSing.

Based on your description of the work you did immediately prior, my first guess would be in the wiring to the ceiling lights. If you pulled on a wire connection during the installation of the LEDs , and it loosened up (say because it's 20yrs old?) or partially separated, then you dropped the roof, I could easily see that putting tension on the wire and breaking a connection... and such would easily cause your problem.

    Obv. that's just a guess.

. I have the same model. I think you took a picture of the factory heater connector. X2 on checking the wire at the fixture. Try checking the outside pin connection near the post above the refrigerator.
