So I am getting to the point of putting up the walls and re-installing the wiring on my PUP. We purchased a used air conditioner to go up top, and I need to run wiring. There is a canvas channel next to each lifter post that the D/C wiring runs up. Can I run the A/C wiring up the channel too, or do I need to come up with a different channel? The other wires are for the running lights and the interior lights.

Perhaps you should consult with someone familiar with RV wiring codes in New York.

My 99 Palomino was wired in a similar fashion. The dc lights and the AC power for the air were in a canvas channel in the tenting.

Thanks guys. Good to know they could potentially run together, but I will also call a couple RV dealers that install air conditioners and find out what they do.
