Grant is also a good location for a base camp for seeing Yellowstone and Grand Teton.

While you're out that way, consider a trip up the Beartooth Highway. One of America's must beautiful byways.

X2 on the Beartooth and plan a full day with plenty of stops. And IMHO don't be towing the pup.
