After much discussion and writing things out, we have went to the dark side. I'll miss being able to travel to different campgrounds as we have purchased a travel trailer on a seasonal lot. I've struggle with a back issue all this year and the pup made it even worse and it would take me at least a day after each weekend to start to recover. That said, we still plan on staying here because of all the wonderful things we've learned over the last 4 years. We contemplated keeping the pup but it sold fast and we got more for it than we had into it. That wasn't the case with our first one!

I'm sure I'll find plenty of things here to help me with the new trailer...or as we like to call it..our Traibin (trailer/cabin as it does have an extra room built on to it)

I can understand where you are coming from. We all have our reasons. I think if we went dark, it would be to extend our camping into the winter, since the HTT only stays warm if we close the bunk ends.

So, what did you purchase !?

One of many different directions we must go as we age.
I think that was a definitely one of the factors for us too plus being able to extend our camping season too.....by the way.....it's great to have a freezer for ice cream too...what a concept!

I have back issues as well and when it flares up it is hard to do anything. I hear you about the pop up work.

Glad you were able to find a place that you enjoy.

Vin.
