We bought an air fryer the other day and it has done a great job doing southern fried chicken, the meat was juicy on the inside and nice and crunchy on the outside. Took less time than the deep fryer and used no grease. it does a wonderful job on french fries they came out nice an crunchy on the outside and hot ans soft on the inside.
I ordered a book from Amazon of 550 recipes we are looking forward to using it, if it does as good as I hope /think I will but another one for the TT I can then replace the fry daddy that I use in the TT now..

    Can confirm.

Kids like the corn dogs (reheated the frozen ones), tater tots, and Potstickers better from the Air Fryer than other cooking methods.

Ours is great so far, the recipe book is supposed to arrive Friday and we cannot wait to get it
We also bought an electric pressure cooker/ crock pot etc. this does a great job too and was a bargain at Rural King since it was the last one on the shelf..

I did get the insta pot. Lol. I like it so far but only used it a few times. Let us know how the air fryer does on some other stuff, i was thinking it would be a nice addition to the pups cooking regime, especially with a 7 yo that has a chicken nugget addiction!

We have used the AIR Fryer several times and it works really good, the no oil is not quite correct, for french fries or other fried foods etc. you need about a tsp of oil, then shake it so the food gets coated. The skin on chicken, fish and other fried foods get a nice crispy skin just like KFC and some of the others. Should work really good for camping where we have electric. The recipe book I bought has 550 recipes. over all the air fryer is better for health and is less messy than the oil frying method. But we aren't retiring the fry pans just yet :) and doubt we ever will.
