Hey folks, lately when I log onto the Portal, I get a warning from my anti virus about an amazon phishing thing. It doesn't happen when I log onto other forums. Maybe you can check into this? Thanks.

I will say, that it went away after I bought stuff on the real Amazon site? Coincidence? Or part of a master plan? [EEK]

This site has had chronic history of delivering malicious ads (not the admin's fault directly, but the ad service they use). Guessing you're getting one of them, in rotation.

When I saw the title, I thought Amazon was going to be making a pop-up camper! [LOL]

I get it on my phone at times, but never on PC.

If you use Google on your cell it is really tough to block adds for some reason. I use Firefox for my phone browser with AdBlock I get an add periodically until AdBlock finds a way to block it.

I was having the same problem. The ads here are terrible on my phone. I could only view 3 or so posts before being redirected. Also had to switch to an ad blocker.

I wasn't going to bring it up, but since others did, using an adblocker (on both mobile and laptop) is the only way I can keep this site usable. It does cost the perpetrators money though, and I wish I didn't have to, but as shown by this thread, it's often a fundamental functionality issue if you don't, and sometimes even a safety/security issue as (some of) the ads served are very low grade and scammy.

Haha I meant "proprietors", as in the fine folks that pay for and run this place.
