Replaced my anode and was wondering if anyone knows torque spec. I was a little shy about tightening, think I had a small leak. I removed anode and added more teflon tape but still a little shy about tightening. Suburban water heater. Quite a few threads are still visible on anode after tightening.

The more tape you use the more threads will be visable. No need to tourque it.

We will replace 2-3 a day. They are pipe threads. A couple wraps of tape and tighten. We don't torque them. Never knew of a torque spec for pipe fittings
