I have not posted for quite a while because my poor boy has had many issues. I am sorry to say his days are very near the end and I am prepared to give him that final gift of letting him go. Tucker has truly been a joy to me and a most wonderful companion, a truly exception guy. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. He is 13yrs 2 months old.

While its always hard to say goodbye to a longtime companion, the memories you've shared will be with you always. When I see so many dogs whose lives are spent in a fenced in yard, the highlight of their days when they get to go for a walk around the block, then to see the happy face of your friend, enjoying the freedom of the wild and even getting to go fishing I know he's had a life to be envied by many. My prayers are with you that you can go from the grief of loss, to the happy memories of a faithful companion.

Such a tough time and so sorry. Tucker looks like one happy dog who has a long and loving life and enjoyed being with his family in the great outdoors. Know that he has many friends over the rainbow bridge.

It is not easy watching a dear dog slowly die. Our dear friends had 2 die within a year or so. They are both MDs and they had the benefit of understanding nature's way.

    Hi
Sorry to hear your sad news, a year ago to the day we had to part ways with our shepherd husky mix baby called Dusty she was 14yrs old. She enjoyed camping in our previous pup (lionel pup) she was having problems getting around, it was a very sad day but she joined some of her friends in heaven where she is running around pain free and happy. You are in my thoughts it's a very hard decision to make, take care.

Letting them go is so very hard. We had to let out Akita go last year (actually, its getting to be almost two years now...), and while it was very difficult to do, we will always remember him with his tail and ears up. I hope when the time comes you have peace between you.
