Many of you have heard and maybe seen the Union Pacific 4014 "Big Boy" locomotive that's wrapping up a tour of the Southwest U.S. in a few days. 4014, which was in service from 1941 to 1961, was restored by the UP for the 150th anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad. It arrived in Kansas City on Sunday and has been working its way west this week en route back to its home base in Cheyenne, WY. Anyway, today a photographer for the Hays (KS) Daily News got some cool photos of Big Boy arriving in town during a snow event. Click here for more information about Big Boy.
