At the risk of sounding very stupid....

This seems like a good purchase for me:

However, The BALL 28050 for leveling.. but it is for a "single axle" camper/ for "LIGHT TRAILER"..

I don't know how to tell if my pop up camper is a "SINGLE AXLE" or not?
Apologize...I simply can not find the info. in the owner's manual ..

    Thank you

One wheel on a side: Single Axle

Two wheels on a side: Dual Axle

Most commentary on BAL levelers is positive. Mention is made that the wrench that comes with is poor quality.

Are there certain tire sizes that this works with? I thought there were but can't seem to find that info now.

it fits most tires size 13-15. With adding a small piece of wood it can be used on smaller wheels.

I used one on 10" tires. Just had to crank a lot more. :)

The Bal leveler is great. If you get a new one, liberally grease the threaded shaft before use. Many people have destroyed the shaft the very first time used because they don't come adequately lubed.

X 2 You can actually have the unit completely level with it. I also made a wooden box to hold it when not in use. But it would not do the job when we went dark.

I love the BAL but killed 2 power drills cranking it up. The hand wrench it comes with is junk and broke fast. Also, I parked on a bit of a steep side incline and it put a lot of pressure on the bottom tire (the one that goes in the leveler) and it no longer fit the tire correctly. I used a jack to relieve some pressure and put the leveler on and cranked it up to nearly level before the power drills started smoking and needed a cool down. Strong power drills are a must. Also, read the fine print on the tire sizes, 13 inches, 14 inches and MOST 15 inches tires. If you are in the 15 inches size there is the possibility that it will not fit.

Thanks OTAKUSCHAOS for the good information, very much appreciated.

..I don't think many would just want to waste 70.00 on something they could not use.

Absolutely going to try the BAL, ,and use a strong power drill.
Our tire is a 14, so I think we are going to be good with that..

I have never used a drill with my BAL Leveler but I do use a long handled ratchet wrench and it does just fine. My 8 yr old Grandson loves to do the leveling.

Love my BAL. I also use a ratchet and socket, works fine for me. I might try a drill this season since I got a socket genie to use on the winch.

My tire size is a 13". I love this thing...one of the best things bought for the camper. I have had no problem with the wrench that came with it though. I also , like others have purchased a pizza delivery bag to store it in. Happy Camping!!

Also check out the Andersen leveler before making your final decision. This is what we use and it works great.

Same here, got my Bal Leveler too but my pizza bag was empty. I think the UPS driver ate it.

I have the BAL leveler and I have 12" wheels. It works great on 12" wheels. I have parked on some very uneven camping spots and I had no trouble getting the camper level in just a few minutes.
