We are at the site now. Tried putting the BAL level on and can't get it to slide in under our tire. We had zero problems on gravel/dirt. Are they just not meant to use in concrete? What's the trick to get them to work?

Likely that your tires are under inflated. A dirt surface is more forgiving.

Makde sure it is all the way down and put it in sideways then turn parallel to tire. I have no issues on my 13"tires on any surface.

    BAL Level on concrete?

Tires are at 50 psi, recommends 50 psi on side of tire. We will try the parallel thing. We have 14" tires so it might just be too tight. Too bad. Worked great on dirt!

If Your on a concrete pad is it that uneven you need it? Could u use a board if you can't get it under?

Yes, it is that uneven. If it was even enough we wouldn't even bother with it.

My bad. I had assumed that you had a 13" tire. Your problem is common. A discussion can be found here. http://www.popupportal.com/index.php?topic=83195.0
A simple remedy is to carry a 1x4 block with you. Back the tire onto it to give you a slight initial lift so your Bal Leveler can slide under.

Was not trying to question your integrity sir. Just a question..... I.m sure you were able to get set up. Crack a cold beverage and enjoy your time away from the rat race. [CF]

I didn't think you were questioning my integrity. I really really wish this concrete was level enough so we wouldn't have to mess with it! Oh well, my husband finally got it wedged under there. We were a good 6+ inches from being level. Much better now!
