I need to install one on my HTT and I've seen a lot of others asking about them as well.

I've seen the blade style that goes in the battery box and various ones that mount through the box allowing you to operate it with having to open it all up 1st.

Just wondering what type everyone likes and why.
    Please share your opinions. Thanks.

Made one with weather proof junction box, lid, clamp, and switch screw to frame.

Hands down a Blue Sea m-series battery disconnect switch. I've always used a #6006 for a single battery, is weather proof and easily mounted on any battery box.

What ever switch you use. I would make sure the brake breakaway switch is powered when the switch is off.

Many of trips I forget to switch on the power, even when I need it on for the 12v fridge to run

On the FnR, it is built in to the converter/charger. On the clipper, I added a blade style that sits outside the box - but the battery and switch are in a compartment with door.

I disconnect the negative battery cable after I back it into the storage shed. Takes about 15 seconds.

    Exactly.
