Pretty ingenious way to boost the state coffers, but I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with the crowd this would attract.

OK, let's start taking bets on how long it will be before some idiot in a bigfoot costume gets shot.

I would say that it wouldn't be safe in the woods no matter what you are wearing.

They will capture it and find out its firepit trying to scare away all the other campers so he can get a spot.

Probably not a good idea to run around in a bigfoot costume
or a set of Antlers on your head.
No suit for me is needed to scare other campers away.
I have a knack for doing that on my own when AC/DC Thunderstruck
    is playing.[:D]

Has Bigfoot proven itself to be a danger to anyone? Why have a hunting season for something we don't fully understand, is on the verge of extinction for all we know, and by all accounts appears to be a peaceful part of our mythos? Considering duck hunters were shooting each other not too long ago in the US, I don't think I want to fan the flames any further.

Tea and crumpets with Bigfoot though - sign me up!

I've logged a lot of Youtube hours watching bigfoot stuff. If you can't bring me bones or bodies, I can't rightly believe. But, bring in the 1st one and then protect all the land 100% Hunt until you have proof, protect at a distance once confirmed. We have no need to hunt further than 1 specimen.

There even folks who are sold that logging and land owners have hunted them via chopper in the north Canadian bush. I just don't know, it's sure something. And certainly a whole lot of land you know nothing about out there.

Who on here ever thinks about bigfoot while walking to their tree stand in the dark.
I am not a believer but if I ever ran across one it would be tough to go back there
unless he offered me a bag of beef jerky!!

I'm more concerned about running into a werewolf than I am a running into bigfoot.

As for shooting one to get proof, that isn't going to happen. Bigfoot has shown himself to be smarter than men with guns.

Firepit, I have never worried about Big Foot but one time after the evening hunt I was walking out and had unloaded my rifle walking down the road and I walked up in a heard of hogs feeding. I mean no moon no stars but I could hear at the time and It sounded like the Russian army out there. I fumbled around and got my mag mini light out and I could see 4 boars within 20 yards and their teeth were clicking and they didn't seem glad to se me. I did not have time to excrete anything and all I could remember is feet don't fail me now. I cranked a round in my Sendero and popped a cap into the ground. Probably the biggest scare I had in the woods although not dangerous was after the evening hunt again I was way out in a place called Wild Horse Canyon and All my buds were going to The Silver Dollar Saloon that night to drink some spirits and dance with the ladies, so I left my stand on the side of the hill a little early and decided to cut left up thru the draw instead of walking down to the road below me and then out. There was only one bush after I rounded the corner from my stand and headed up. I was with in about 15 ft from the bush when I flushed a rather large covey of quail out. I nearly ruirnt all of my new hunting clothes I had got for my B-day. I mean that was like being at your GF's apartment with her husband beating on the front door and realizing you are up stairs and there is no back door.

AC/DC is great, but I'll take mine with Bon Scott, please. I don't care for the new guy much.
