A sudden opportunity for a trip has accelerated my tire buying plans, meaning I'd like to pick up a set of tires for my pup today if possible. Since I want new rims anyway, I'd just buy them loose and mount them myself when I get home.

What's my best best for shopping locally? Are trailer tires and rims popular enough that I could walk into a Costco/Belle/Discount Tire shop and expect to walk out happy with some 14" rims and tires?

    I'm in SE Michigan.

    Thanks!

Looks like it's time to start calling stores. Day is half over now.

How fast do you need them? By tomorrow? I find that most of the tires needed in my area for the speed and weight of the pup had to be ordered.

Harbor Freight has some in stock. Menards does too. Belle and Discount may have the tires, but just loose, so you'll have to bring them the rims/camper.

I've picked up a spare WalMart in the past.

Northern Tool sells them pre mounted. That is where I got mine. If you can combine with a sale and a coupon they are a pretty decent deal.

Thanks, guys. I didn't have any luck calling or checking locally. I'll just cross my fingers for this trip, and order my replacements tout de suite.

Just another thought: Your local RV dealer probably stocks the tires you need.
