Has anyone stayed here? If so, how is it?
Sorry I don't know the cg, but I know the area well -- CLOSE TO EVERYTHING!!
WildWood 20mins - AC45mins - Ocean City 20 mins --
Cape May County ZOO is a must -- NO admission charge
2 good places for fishing -- beasleys point bridge and corsons inlet state park
good place to rent a sea doo -- beasley's point
Stayed there last October. Was OK, large park, sites close together but was nice. We had trees and the park wasn.t full. On a quite road. Staff was great. We would stay there again, but next time we will try something closer to Cape May proper. Cape May was very nice.
Stayed last year at Shellbay Family Camping Resort 10 days and Seashore Campsites 10 days in Cape May and I would recommend both. This year we will be trying Beachcomber Camping Resort
Been there quite a few times. It's close to Avalon. Avalon & Stone Harbor beaches are beautiful. Avalon has a public parking lot and restrooms. You'll need beach tags at any So. Jersey beach. Cape May is nice but parking and traveling through is a pain.
You'll be hard pressed to beat Big Timber Lake. Lots of activities and the facilities are great and CLEAN. Driftwood Resort is pretty decent too.
Thumbs down on Pine Haven; way to crowded.
North Wildwood Camping Resort has okay wooded sites but the bathhouse is NASTY.
Haven't stayed here for years, but know someone who is a seasonal here. Facilities are CLEAN and lots of activities going on. Very clean campground and well-maintained. Our family would definitely camp here again, but we usually go to Holly Shores in Cape May, and now know people there so our kids like to go back to HS all the time. I think you'll enjoy your stay at Big Timber Lake.
