I switched from 12 x 5.30 Load C (1,045 lbs at 80 psi) to 145/80-12 Load D (1,220 lbs at 65 psi) just to be able to use gas station pumps. By me Wawa, Exxon ect max the pumps out at 65psi.
Yep. Soon after you acquire any new vehicle, and before you take a major trip, you should change a tire in your driveway using only the tools you carry. Figure out how your jack works, make sure you've got a good lug wrench, etc. It's a lot easier to do at your leisure at home during daylight than it will be at night beside the road. Some lug wrenches and/or jacks supplied with vehicles really aren't very good. Where do you want to find out how bad yours is?
Is there a trailer tire that doesn't? Seriously....even Goodyear is made in China now. Is there an American or even German or Italian camper tire?
