This is by far the most popular breakfast item I have ever made in camp... This one requires a lot of 'stuff', but it is the most popular camp breakfast item I have ever made in my DO. Great with scrambled eggs and bacon... (BTW, it only smoked for a minute or two while I started a new sleeve of charcoal with birch bark...) https://www.familycookbookproject.com/recipe/3327774/dutch-oven-corn-casserole.html IMG_3858.JPG IMG_3861.JPG

Yes indeed. My mother used to make this in the oven at home. After she died, I resigned myself to never having this along with a few other favorites again. But now my youngest daughter makes it for me on special ocassions -- Easter, Thanksgiving, etc.

    Life it good. [:)C]
