7-26 to 7-28 (2019), Site 78 Definitely a great place to stay! We wanted to take the kids to COSI in Columbus and decided to make a weekend out of it. The SP is about 50 minutes away and was a great alternative to a hotel. The camp itself is not that big (100+ sites) or very shady but the way the trees and vegetation borders it creates this tunnel like effect and provides shade at certain times of the day. In fact driving into the campground which is a few miles by itself is like driving through a green canyon. I did not like the firewood bundles; they just seemed small, cut thin so they burned quick. There was nice space between sites and all the pads seemed to be in good shape. It was clean and the bathrooms/shower houses were bigger and very wheel chair friendly. The playground was good with enough equipment to keep the kids interested and the out of the way nature kept traffic to a minimum. One thing that was very nice was the camper beach. The public beach was miles down the way so this was convenient and felt like a perk. A con though is it is a stone beach so you will want to wear shoes. Overall, we will definitely be back!
