Thinking about going to Burr Oak State Park. Has anyone been there? What is your thought about the Camp Ground?

We camped to Burr Oak State Park ohio for the past 4 night. It rained for 2 nights, cold nights around 30F. The park is is nice park. The electric sites are very close together. We camped in the non-electric sites which were much more spaced out. We had a nice view of the lake form our campsite. Not much to do in the area. One shower house which was old and clean with flush toilets in the building. All other toilets were pit pots. We will go back.

Sites are close together. Number 44 is the best. Sits on top of hill on corner, no one can get beside you on either side and driveway is long. Bathroom up top nice, looks to have been redone recently, flushes. Shower house is old, smells and has no where to put your stuff in the shower.

Fishing is decent on lake. Idle only for large motors or 9hp. Can rent pontoons and kayaks there reasonable prices. Camp store’s firewood is cheapest priced I have seen.
