Were in the middle of a back country fishing and hiking trip , it's rained hard on us every day despite the forecast for nice weather . Up in this high country we have no cell signal we drove to a local town for ice and a burger and I found signal, so I thought I would post some pics .

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Had a moose in camp for two days , didn't seem to mind us or the camp fire

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

We spotted a cow elk with her calf on the trail ahead of us , the calf just new born laid down beside the trail we went around and when we came back down 3 hours later , the calf was still there , I snapped a quick pic and we left the area .

The falls we hiked into at full spring runoff

    Lunch on the trail

I'll post more when we get back

Thanks for sharing, I'm really envious.

Really enjoyed your pictures and seeing how nice a family you have! Amazing the moose did not bother you, especially with a newborn calf. Maybe she thought it was "okay" with your little ones about (or you were just lucky!),

I catch and release 95% of the time , sometimes they swallow the hook and they become dinner , I have one that I caught this morning and brought home that did just that so we will stuff him with onions , lemon and seasoning salt , wrap in foil and put on the grill or coals at camp !

Idaho rainbow trout , a cold beer , it's a good fathers day . [IMG]
