This is a map of all of the campgrounds we have visited in our little Gnometown camper. From Yellowstone to Gettysburg and from Suwannee to Cape Breton, she has been our home away from home.
    She's a real gnomemad, that's for sure!
I'm such a nerd, if you click on the marker, it shows a pic of gnometown at that particular campground, lol.

Very nice. I might have to do the same. I probably have more stay in Canada than in US. :)

Sweet! I see you have only been in one area in Nebraska if you ever want some ideas I can tell you lots of lakes and campgrounds to try out.

I'm jelous. I can barely get a week off of work so I'm stuck to everything within 12 hours from here. But did a fair job of getting the entire east coast in. Still a few states I need to get. I can finally tick, NY off in Aug. My camping goal is to camp in all the east coast states. With a few of the more nearby states, like TN and OH.

Noticed your profile indicated you are from Northern Virginia. We (DW, grandkids, and daughter) stayed in a nice little park on edge of Fairfax, and Prince William Counties. The park is named Bull Run Regional Park. ( Centerville,or Centreville, can't remember). We basically used it as our base when touring DC. Have you heard of it?

. Absolutely. I stayed there myself a couple of times. Although because I live so close I don't camp there often unless I need to find a place near home and storage lot to fix my popup. (My neighborhood does not allow campers). Usually only go for day trips though. My niece loves the water park there.

I would be interested in your suggestions. We stayed in a private campground in North Platte a couple years ago on our way to Yellowstone National Park. Then the next day drove past McConaughy Lake north of Ogallala. Had we known it was there, we would have driven another 45 minutes or so and had a much nicer place to spend the night. [:)C]

42 different camping locations and counting now in our little Gnometown camper. She's still popping up and down, without any problems!

OMG this is so cool! Glad this 2 year old thread got brought up! You were only a couple of miles from our home at Suwannee! We are planning a long trip like this for next summer, but staying along the east coast. Maybe we will eventually get the nerve to do the west.

Well done! I, too, am glad this post came around again. You've done a lot of work to give these great details of your travels. Thanks again! We haven't had time to travel this far east yet, but these links will help us explore virtually for now!

I'm up to 99 camp grounds in the US and Canada. They do vary a lot.
