Camping in Nova Scotia

Headed for NS soon with pup canoe and bikes.
Any suggestions for best camping canoeing biking etc?? Probably starting in Halifax.

I don't have any suggestions for Halifax but if you have time do yourself a favor and go to Cap Breton, truly some of he most beautiful country you'll ever see.

I actually have a suggestion for Halifax now. We spent a couple nights at Shubie Park last fall, while a pretty basic park it had everything we needed. They have fully serviced lots, WiFi and it's right across the bridge from Halifax.
I thinks it's one of the closest parks to Halifax

Nice! Might check it out this summer as I'd love to bring the family to the Cape Breton national park where I haven't been for maybe 12 years.
