Nice setup ya got there.
I used to have the same RV, sold it, they are great.Regards
Nice setup! Question...what full load weight for your PUP and what is the Nissan rated for max? I only ask cause we are looking into new TV and we have a FR HW276.
Nice setup! Do you have (or need) a Weight Distribution hitch for that setup? When's your first (or next) trip out?
It's around 3200lb, I haven't weighed it fully packed yet but i don't tow with a full water tank because it has AC, 2 propane tanks, and a heavy group 27 battery.
The TV came with a Class III hitch and 7 pin pre wired plus it was prewired for a brake controller I just had to connect the harness that nissan supplied when I bought the TV.
That is an LE- max is 9000lb with a WDH for greater than 5000lb that is with the tow package and 4wd, 8000lb with 2WD. The SE without is 6500lb max.
We had a SE that came with a tow/haul button but the rear end was not part of the tow package so DW and I felt it was better to get a TV that could pull the toys we wanted. Also it has auto leveling so I don't have to add airbags to the rear to level it out. The Q56 is setup like the LE (or now SL) with full time AWD.
I don't pack a lot in the pup because the axle is rated 3500lb.
While it is a beast I don't have a WDH because it's under 5000lb and under 500lb on the tongue, I do appreciate the electronic brakes, my previous pup was 2700 fully loaded and didn't have them.
Took it out to a SP early May didn't take any picks Have a few small trips to close SP and ACoE CG we have close by for the summer nothing long haul. I will have to post some picks.
You have inspired me to make some mods- really need to upgrade the speakers and get a better thermostat just have to convince the DW.
The drawback to the Armada/Titan is fuel economy. But man oh man do they have power. I have towed with Chevy, Ford, and Dodge half tons, and the Titan has them beat. The right cimbination of add ons to the Nissan full size platform can get you 21 mpg easy, I just havent been able to do them. Congrats on your new setup.
Very nice, enjoy the pup
