http://rockymountaincamping.ca/ChinookLake.htm I've camped here more than once. It's pretty high up and gets chilly at night. The campground itself isn't too bad. No bathrooms or any kind of power(like most provincial campgrounds). It's not far from town, but still kind of a pain if you need anything. I haven't camped here in a pup, just a tent. Even though it rained most of the last time I was there, my kids weren't overly bored. We didn't swim because it was too cold, but hung out at the lake anyway. The road in is fine, I drove my minivan and could easily take the pup.
