We just got back from camping at Clarkco this weekend. First time there. We stayed in campsite #7, which was very close (25 yds) from the nearest restroom (but no shower at this restroom, you have to go a little farther for that). There was a small swimming area with a dock, and playground adjacent to our campsite as well.

There is a small camp store at the main lodge. There are also large pavilions near the front of the park where several parties/family reunions were going on Saturday.

The town of Quitman is about 5 miles away, and we made a trip there to the Super Dollar store (nearest Wal-Mart is 20 or so miles away, in Meridian).

Behind the main lodge is the main beach area on the lake. There is also a splash pad which was a lot of fun for the kids during the heat of the day, and several playgrounds at the water's edge.

There are also nature trails along the lake, but we didn't get around to hiking them this weekend. All in all, it's a very nice and quiet campground. We would definitely camp here again.

We've tent camped as well as stayed in the cabins at Clarkco, and we love it. Looking forward to staying there in our NTU pop-up soon!
