Absolutely great park, spacious sites, electricity but no water hookup-bunches of drive through sites. The vault toilets were even clean and no smell.<img src=../Images/icons/icon_smile_happycamper.gif border=0 align=middle>

We just got back from our trip the last week of July. This place was wonderful !!! We had such a great time. Lots of places to visit in the Colorado Springs area, but we still spent a couple of days just hiking & biking & soaking up the beautiful scenery. Electricity at most of the sites, and a good mix of pull-thru & backup sites. Very friendly & attentive rangers on duty at all times. We're hoping to go again next year with friends and/or family. Don't miss it!

This is one of our favorite places to go. The shower house is really nice, the roads are paved, it is very quiet and peaceful, electricity, great people around, and we ride motorcycles and there is a place to ride very close to the park. We really like this place compared to other national forests and parks in CO. Next stop, Rocky Mountain National Park!

We spent two nights here-sites are nice (try the peak loop) They have a small playground and a great shower house/nature facility. Also, you are close enough to Woodland Park with all of the pulled taffy you could ingest. Can get to Colorado Springs in a jiffy for Garden of the Gods etc/Pikes Peak. Also, Cripple Creek is near (a very pretty drive) for gambling. Florissant fossil beds also near by. All in all-a great campground that is very scenic yet close to a lot.

Mueller State Park is also good for winter camping, open all year.

Also the drive through Phantom Canyon is gorgeous. You can pick it up going south from Victor.

We drove Phantom canyon coming back to the park from Canon City after rafting the Arkansas headwaters. Beautiful drive.
