This privately operated park was a hospitable stay for two nights.
With complete services, including wi-fi, we would happily stay there again if near.
Sites were pretty level, but pups will need just a bit of help, and bigger trailer more.
This is long term stay destination for many escaping the heat of the plains.
Next site over was staying for 6 weeks and this is their 12th year there.

The Conjejos River runs along the campground and is just a short walk from any site in the park.

The bathrooms were excellent and the shower room is separate as it is separtely heated in the winter. Hookups were convenient and in good condition. A sewer adapter is a must to use their dump station, but they have sewer at sites.

There are a few remote tent sites that are very rustic and I found them very appealing.

This was our staying site while visiting FIBark in Salida.

Excellent place to escape the heat and friendly managers with great service. The office sells necessities...and ice cream!

Pic is from building used for picnics and gatherings. A comfortable and welcoming place to camp.

PS: One of the caretakers' little girls offers pet sitting for $2/hr for small dogs, as well as other services. We found her a delightful little girl and she gave lots to smile about.
