My wife likes coffee when camping. We have a 10 cup maker and it takes up too much room. Is there something smaller? Now that we have a pup we need downsize everything we use in the pup.

We have a Keurig, though that probably takes up as much room as the 10 cupper. They do make a smaller one cup version as well. Alternatively you could take a French Press, you essentially heat the water, throw in the coffee and press the filter element through trapping the grounds at the bottom. No electricity required, unless of course you use that to heat the water.

I bought the smallest 10 cup I've ever seen for $8 at Walmart but I couldn't find it. I'll look again but this one is really small

Here it is. We need the 12 cup because we are too impatient in the morning and use 5 cup size coffee mugs

I make her coffee every day. Have to keep it simple. I will look at a four cup and the one with the k-cup.

When my wife goes, we take the keurig - it is a larger one though - but the convenience is worth the space. When it's just me - I use a french press. I am keeping my eyes peeled for a deal on the mini Keurig to leave in the camper. They are nice - almost no prep, and no clean up.

Our Keurig gave out this past Saturday morning while camping. I got up at 5am and it would work. When my husband woke up we made a run to Walmart and found a one cup coffee maker for only $9. It's really small and light weight. [PU]

I have a MyJoe. No electricity required. You put a Keurig cup in it, or ground coffee in the basket that it comes with, screw it together, put it on top of a cup, pour hot water in, put the top on, and pump it through into the cup. They run about $19.

It all depends on how much coffee you drink, how much room you have and how much work you want to make.. We carry (two) 4 cup coffee makers (one is used as a tea maker), but back in the days of tent camping I carried one of those Melitta coffee filter holders (the kind you place over the cup and pour water into .. Thinking on adding one of the smaller Keurig machines to allow for a greater variety of beverages ..

We have 2 percolators, an electric one and one for the stove. We use it accordingly, both are 4 cups if i recall right which mean we end up with more coffee than what we should drink..

We used to have a small 4 cup maker in the camper, but now we are Keurig snobs. We got it as a gift 3 Christmases ago and now we never leave home without it. Usually we put it inside the camperdoor before pulling out of the driveway, but it has made a trip or two in the floorboard of the TV.

A coffee press it takes up very little room makes about 4 cups and to us it tastes better.
