Hello, I recently acquired a 2001 Coleman Niagara Elite from my dearly departed uncle. I know very little about this pop up but I do have all of the owners manuals being that they were the first owners. I'm hoping you have any information about where you get parts, service, advice ect.....I'm also hoping that since you own the same pop up you'll allow me to use you as a resource to try and learn how this thing works. I haven't taken it out yet since I just recently dropped it off to get an "issue" with the trailer wiring diagnosed. After 400 dollars of troubleshooting the wiring I was told that they "fixed" the issue and there was a switch to the front cargo box light that also turned on and off the trailer running lights. I'm hoping this isn't how its supposed to be wired and that I didn't spend that money for them to "fix" something that wasn't broken. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing all about your experience in owing what seems to be a great pop up.
2001 Coleman Niagara Grand Tour Elite. Just acquired it from a recently passed loved one. I haven't taken it out yet but it seems like its a great pop up. Any other owners of this model please speak up with any advice you may have as I'm still trying to figure this thing out.
I have 2002 Niagara and I love it. I can suggest that you print out the 2001 Coleman manual and read all before you ask questions. I strongly stress that you park the popup on a level site and crank up slowly until you can feel the crank has reached the top then stop. then crank down the stabilizers - not too much but one full hand crank rotation for each stabs. look inside with the manual... You may need a full day to figure out.
What did you end up doing to it? Especially the top.
Yes, it is supposed to work that way. Although some owners will have to explain how it works, I think it depends on whether the hatch is open or closed.
Just picked up a 1973 Yorktown, needs a roof rebuild if anyone has done one of those I would love suggestions.
Have done alot of work so far. I replaced the matresses with new thicker ones, replaced all of the canvas which has upgraded U/V protected tinted windows, replaced the LP alarm, fixed the cabinets, got the water pump working, changed out the leaking galley faucet and shower faucet, repaired and repainted the roof, upgraded to a dual propane system and cleaned that bad boy up. This winter I will take out all of the cabinets and redo the floors and paint the cabinets. My wife is excited about making new curtains and valances. Just got back from our first camping trip and we are absolutely in love with our pup and look forward to many more camping trips.
Does anyone know where I can get a front door for a 2002 Coleman Sedona?
