Recently tried the Reese's Klondike bars... let's just say I have some in the camper freezer waiting for next weekend! They're friggen delicious lol!
Ice Cream during Camping is my new vice. Just sayin'
There's a golf course right across the road from the state park where we go most of the time that has great ice cream for $1 a scoop.
I really like homemade ice cream too. We were going to make some over July 4, but never got around it to it. Ice Cream freezer is still in the back of the truck. Think I'll leave it there...maybe next trip.
You all suck. That is all!
We camp at a State Park on the Beach. The Ice Cream truck hits our Loop at 11:30am and again at 4pm, every day.
Picked this up a couple of summers ago. Fill the inner chamber with the ice cream ingredients and the outer with ice and salt. Toss it around for 20 min and voila, ice cream.
Why am I hungry for Soft Shelled Tacos featuring Ice Cream now?
I have a dorm sized freezer in my pop up. We have ice cream in there often. Best of both worlds.
Gun Totin' Grannies Always Win!
Yep! I've lived in small homes with four kids long enough to know how to make the most of small spaces. I get all the comforts of home in there.
Here is my little tour video that you can see our freezer in the place of the 3-way fridge. The fridge lives on a counter, where it is more accessible. Yep, lime green is my favorite color.
Lol...hooked on Nutty Buddies myself, I'll face plant one on occasion here at home...hand dipped is good stuff too, sure miss the days when it was 5 cents a scoop...wish I knew how many gallons I cranked out as a kid on a front porch w/ a fan blowing across a block of ice lol
YES! This was how my mother used to cool a room when we were kids! Of course, I remember you used to be able to buy block ice wherever you bought bags of cubed ice. Now, can't find it hardly anywhere; so try to make my own for our ice chest.
Put a pint of ice cream in freezer, and some Pillsbury pre-made dough in the fridge. Pop on oven, bake 6 cookies and, my friends, you have home made ice cream cookie sandwiches in the middle of friggin nowhere... and you don't even need to run the genny.
These are some seriously awesome times we are living in! Now I have a sugar craving ... We don't keep junk food in the house so I had to send my son to the gas station to get me something.
Lol, wife's outta town at a reunion, she made a Paula dean banana pudding w/ Chess cookies & left me some, heading to the fridge NOW
How do you power the oven?
Mmmmm peanut butter Klondike.....
That is a big camper you got.
