Considering a 2007 Jayco 12 HW

    We are considering purchasing this unit. Do we need to tie it down if we leave in NW Florida with family to use?

    I'm sorry. Anchor it down if we leave it in FL for our family to use. (Going to help with Hurricane Michael recovery.)

    That's a new one.
    I guess you could. Sink a block of concrete with a hooked end rebar and attach the camper's frame to it.

    You would have to sink the block a good 4-5 ft... A lot of airports have tie downs for planes ( Cessna size, ) those tie downs are actually attached to the rebar used in the concrete for the entire apron area.. it may only be a foot or two deep but it could be a few 100 square feet..

    Good ideas. I just don't want it to take flight and visit the neighbors in the case of another (heaven forbid) bad storm.
