I read many of you have switched to led lights in the pup..
Do you just buy new led bulbs and replace?or is there something more to convert them?
Where did you get them and how much are they? Part number would be nice..I'm assuming most campers use the same type of bulbs
    Thanks in advance

Just get the number off of your bulb and search for LED replacements. All you do is put them in.

A lot of folks mention https://www.superbrightleds.com/. As noted, you look at your bulbs and search a replacement with the same designation. Replacements may be available with a variety of brightness levels (the brighter they are, the greater the power draw) and different light colors (warm to cool white). It might take some trial and error to get the combo you want.

YUP - thats what I did for the OEM fixtures.

Then I added two overhead LED strip lights, just below the peak, which are fantastic for the Aliner..

Screen Shot 2020-06-29 at 7.11.58 AM.png Do your research ...... because ceiling lights have no or poor reflectors you may want to look at a replace panel bulb. All the light goes in one direction there you want it.

I bought mine from Amazon. Mine are closet in color to incandescent as I prefer that to a Joe vs the volcano vibe. I did make sure to get ones that were rated to a larger voltage range. I had read that some had problems with straight 12v ones due to voltage fluctuations. Mine are rated for 12-24v I think. No problems 4 years on now. Straight replacement bulb.

I would recommend that you just get SMD LEDs off of eBay. They are the flat ones and just stick in your fixtures. They come with multiple bulb socket adapters. All the light output goes where you want. Different lumens and colors available. They are about$1 each, often sold 10 at a time. Very easy to convert and install. The only thing you need to pay attention to is the polarity, they only work one way.

The ones you have have a regulator. I strongly recommend ones with a regulator. If you only use battery and never plug into AC then it wont matter much.

Either way. I replaced my interior fixtures in the pup because they were super cheap and I wanted pretty new ones. In our big TT, I just replaced the bulbs with LED.
