    DW has 2 CPAP'S. The new one stays in the house. The old one stays in the camper. The old one has been recalled, last April, and we just found out. Google Philips recall. Foam inside emitting chemicals

    Philips can go and screw themselves.
    They were in the process of moving all US service operations to Mexico, announced in January to @18,000 employees. Thanks for the years of service, here's a pittance of a severance package and a few bucks if you agree to stay through the transition and train the Mexicans, then you can go pound salt, we dont need you anymore, don't let the door knob hit you.

    The Mexican firm who was taking over service has been dropping the ball since April, and the current employees who were not needed, which were told in January were losing their jobs in April, are still working with month to month extensions. Now Philips thinks they are doing them a favor by keeping them around for what is looking like another 2, 3, or 5 years because of this recall, who knows. Its a guessing game.

    We did not need you a few months ago so piss off, but now we need you to stick around and help us get through this recall. They do not even have a clue how many units are out there that are affected, could be 16 million.

    FYI Philips knew about this foam problem long long ago.............They knew about it when they announced in January all these service folks were getting shitcanned. Now they're scrambling to figure out how to refurbish all these units and they can not even get the materials to do so.

    DW was just contacted by the old vendor/ DR who sold her the old CPAP. Looks like the process is starting.

    @Mark CASTELLANI

    She went by her new CPAP vendor.
    There is a world wide CPAP shortage.
    Minimum 4 month wait if approved.
    Phillips rumored bankruptcy.
