We just noticed that on some of the pup curtains, at the bottom, are little plastic doo-dads that appear to want to hook or slide into something but we cannot figure out what! Any thoughts?

Please note that I am talking bottom of the curtains, not top as in the first response.

Most PUP curtains have plastic pieces at the top of the curtains that slide into grooves that run along the aluminum????

We have them too, and I'm without a clue. They are just on our kitchen side curtain, and there are just 2 of them attached to what looks like tie-backs (but on the bottom). Is that what yours looks like?

My first trailer had a rail running along the bottom of the curtain just like the one running along the top. My current trailer uses a bungie to secure the bottom of the curtain.

The theory here is to keep the bottom of the curtain away from any cooking flame.

Your trailer is new. Look carefully for where these plastic clips belong.

I think Eric probably has solved the mystery. If you can't secure the bottom of the curtains near your stove for some reason, be VERY CAREFUL when using the stove. Maybe only unzip your windows at the top to prevent curtains blowing against the hot stove. (A dumb response, I know, but about the only thing that scares me in the pup is the open flame of the stove!)

Eric is right. My Fleetwood has those at the bottom of the curtain near the stove.

Hate to thwart the responses, but my curtains have them on the side away from the stove, and there is no obvious place to connect them.

    Lawrence,

I suspect that the curtains were put in the wrong place by the dealer......

Do you have a channel that's not being used behind the stove?

If so, it's easy to move them..

I think you're right too. When I pop mine up next week to go camping (YEA!! FINALLY!), I'll check it out.

The first winter we took our curtains out for the season, when we put them back we figured out the dealer had put them in the wrong place when we got the pup, the second year they not only fit the windows better but no more cracks at night!

Ours has a place/bands to tuck them into so they don't blow out over the flame.
