We have a 1998 Jayco Eagle 12SO. I decided I no longer liked the curtains and cushion covers currently in the pup.....partly because I have a rip in one of the cushion covers. That is what sparked the remodel idea.

Our camper uses the Curtain Tabs <img src="http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/8973/149331rw0.th.jpg" border=0> Which are very difficulty to attach to the curtains unless you have a heavy duty sewing machine.

I did find these Airstream Carriers which sew easily onto the new curtains.

I will post a photo when complete. Hubby has installed new counter tops and a new sink as well. Looks great so far.

I was just about to post and ask how to replace those curtain tabs...great find! If you don't mind sharing, where did you get those new tabs? I need enough to do the curtains on both ends of our pup. Thanks so much!

Never mind. I found them on another thread. They seem to be available at the local Airstream dealer...I will check with them in the morning.

Still, could you share the link here, or the link to the other post.

    Thanks.

I have found the carriers at the rv stores as well as here. I did try sewing through the curtain tabs with my regular sewing machine(curiosity got the cat) and I had no trouble sewing through them.

I just completed my new set of curtains using the Airstream tabs. They are terrific! They actually fit better in my coleman than the stock ones! They slide REALLY easy. I highly recommend them if you want to redo those curtains in your PUP!

I hate the pukey green curtains in my pup, but i don't even own a sewing machine. <img src=../Images/icons/icon_smile_lol.gif border=0 align=middle alt="Laugh Out Loud"> Maybe someday i'll find a way.

I'm just finishing up my curtains for the pup. I keep taking rest breaks....actually I get sick of making them. I plan on hanging them up this weekend for our last camping trip of the season so I will take pics and post them.

I haven't started the cushions yet so they don't match at all.

Here a few photos. I actually went out and bought a REALLY nice sewing machine, we have needed one several times and I figured it was time. So these are my $450 curtains. :) You can find decent used sewing machines for really cheap (well under $100) and you can usually get lessons at your local sewing machine store for about $25/ hour and one hour is all it will take. We had so much fun making these curtains, we are just looking for our next project.

Kind of funny that I like sewing so much, I am 28 years old and into extreme sports. I was canceling mountain bike rides so I could sew. Don't tell my buddies!

My wife sewed the edges, and I added the tabs...I am not as good at sewing in a straight line.

Here is the back side of the tabs. It's a good look at the tabs I got from Airstream. .39/ each and it took 40 (10 per curtain).

Here is the front side of a tab.

    <img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h279/Dirt4dinner/Saratoga/Curtains006.jpg" border=0>

Here is a completed curtain. I would take some of them in the trailer...but it's at the auto body paint place getting it's new paint job! When I get it back I will take some photos of the curtains installed.

The carriers are nice and easy to sew through. Nice sewing machine BTW. Ok I guess sneak peaks are ok. I only have a pic of the curtain using the tabs but I was able to sew through them pretty easy.

Backside with tabs. Ignore the sloppy sewing job usually nobody sees that side.

It really is satisfying and rewarding to sew your own things. Looks like a great job! I hope you get more use out of your sewing machine!

We are actually thinking about doing some decrative curtains above the sink (there used to be stock ones, but we tossed them...ugly orange nightmares!). That's how desperate we are to use the new sewing machine!

The just roll up and down. Held up by the curtain holder cords/tabs.

Where did you find the curtain holder cords/tabs? That is exactly what we need to have for our pup. Think we will put the curtains up with velcro instead of messing with tabs again. Now I just have to find some cheap sheets! Yours looks awesome, you should start a business!

I bought them at the local RV store but you can also buy them online. I have a regular sewing machine and had no trouble getting through the tabs but the airstream carriers are much easier to sew through.

I wish I had the patients to make curtains for a living as I may be looking for a new job soon, lol.

    Thank's for the compliment.

Oh wait just realized you were asking about the cords. They were already in the camper. I wouldn't want to replace those as some of them seem to be under the tracks but most look fairly easy to install. I'm sure they can also be purchase online or at a local RV dealor.
