Just got back from 4 days here in site # 42. big spot with fishing pier at the end. nice park, they have private swimming area and fishing piers for campers. A camp store with basic needs. Alot of spots on the waters, but all sites are good, pull throughs and back in. Picnic table and grill/fire ring. Trash picked up daily. 3 shower/rest rooms with 4 stalls and 4 showers each. all have doors that lock, showers have hooks and a small bench out of the shower, to sit, undress, redress. Plenty of electrical outlets for blow dryers, etc.
Pull through was about $20 night, back in one $1 less, with water and electricity. They do have ones with sewer as well.
They have a nature study center, nature trail and a zoo with deer and peacocks.
Very quiet and rangers patrolled on a regular basis. Very nice & I felt safe.
This is north of the Shreveport-Bossier City LA area about 35 miles.
