digital tv OTA reception

    My question is..anyone with a lcd digtal tv and a regular hd rca ant from wally word...get reception in campgrounds,,or state parks Thinking on running this im my tow vehicle conversion van...At home I get like 10 channels thats good for me..just wondering how it would be in my tow vehicle..driving down the road..or parked in my camper spot..just something to catch the news....

    Here in Arizona, there are campgrounds that are within 30 mile range of a metropolitan area and reception is good. Over 30 miles not good.

    Depending on where we are, we generally get about 15 to 30 channels. Now, some of those are the off channel digital channels, but we usually get NBC, ABC and CBS. We have been places where we get nothing, which is OK with us.

    Hi
    I use TVFool.com. Before I travel, or even at campsite, I check out some basic addresses and/or co-ordinates for the sites I will visit and it provides a doppler map and other feedback tools so i can figure out of reception with my aerial setup (wire, bunny ears or yagi) will or will not work.
